  • A tuning fork setting the tone
  • A poster of the German producer of gramophones and radios Telefunken
  • Tesla microphones

I am a big fan of music. The picture In captivity of a ton is my tribute to music. The word tone comes from the word „tonality“. I painted various musical instruments, tuners, lamp radios and a microphone, to which R. A. Dvorský himself used to sing!

In the painting I painted one pipe of the Šternberk organ, which were burned at the parish. They were completely eaten by woodworms. I saved some of them and immortalized them in this picture. And then I added an owl with a clock in its beak to remind us that we have a limited time and it says, "Do not rev up yourself too much, you are not here forever."
